About Pots of Fruit

  • This blog is all about growing fruit in pots. For those of us who have limited space or might be moving house regularly, we can still grow loads of mouth watering fruit to enjoy. I'm trying to learn as much as possible and document my successes and my mistakes as I go. Good luck!

This is a great article. I got a small 3 inch sapling from my father's yard who grows figs. I will put it in a pot as you suggest. If it's still small should I bring it in for the winter? Thanks for the info. Sue

Me too! I mean that I've just got a 3 month old baby plant from my dad who also grows figs and other exotic plants.

There's another article on how to grow a fig by the Telegraph:

Anyway glad I found this - interesting blog!

owever in order to produce fruit, fertilisation is not necessary. They will not produce seed but the fruit will still be as nice, apparently.
